O Tannenbaum
Since 2017, O Tannenbaum has been run as a small club/bar that seats around 70 people. Following a permanent closure during the coronavirus pandemic, neighbors began to complain about the noise level after the reopening. Despite some soundproofing measures, the complaints increased significantly.
In 2023, the acoustics office K5 prepared a soundproofing report and made recommendations for improving the room acoustics and installing a higher-quality sound system.
A high-quality hi-fi sound system including amplifier was therefore installed. In addition, five acoustic panels were installed to improve the room acoustics and reduce reverberation. Two limiters were also purchased to limit the volume.
The result of these measures is that the complaints about noise pollution have almost completely disappeared.
